29 July 2017 – The IULI orientation week was from 24 July until 28 July 2017 in IULI Campus 2, IULI Campus 1 in The Breeze and Gold’s Gym. The orientation from day 1 until day 5 was filled with many activities which brought the new students and their mentors from higher semesters closer together. The activities included a seminar on Indonesian History on day 1, a Drugs and HIV Aids presentation from POLRI on day 2, a careers day from a professional on day 3, a sports and fun day on day 4, and an education seminar on day 5, which closed with the new students’ final project presentation and talent show.
The orientation week was supported by Hotel and Tourism Management lecturers and students, who prepared lunch for 5 days. The closing events highlighted the comradeship between new students and their mentors. The new friendships will last for their time at IULI and even beyond.
