31 October 2017 – On 27-29 October 2017, six IULI students from Aviation Engineering, Lutfi Muzzaki Kh., Giovanni Henggar S., Florensia Yovita, Nathanael, Bernadeth Vionirianty, and Bramhasta Ifnu, participated in the first Aero Leadership Camp at JAZ Skadik 104, Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The event was organized by PN INDO. This event was also attended by Ir. Novyan Samyoga, M. M. (Adisutjipto Air Force Base Commander First Marshall TNI), Ir. Edwin Soedarmo, M.M (the CEO of CSE Aviation and founder of Indonesia Aviation Community), and Ir. Hari Tjahjono, MBA (Chairman Indonesia Aeronautical Engineering Center (IAEC)).
On the first day, the activity started with a ceremony conducted by the Air Force Base Commander Ir. Noyan Samyoga, M. M.. On the second day, 77 participants from 13 different Aerospace Universities did an outbound event and seminar followed by bonfire to commemorate Hari Sumpah Pemuda. And on the last day, the participants and the committee from STT Adisutjipto played paintball and later ended the event with a closing ceremony. Not only that, the six students from IULI had the opportunity to fly in a C-130 Hercules back to Jakarta. From the following activities, it is expected that new generations will have new ideas, knowledge, and the motivation to get higher achievement. Aviasi Jaya!
