Coffee shops are everywhere now. One new one seems to spring up every week and there is no sign of the thirst for coffee among Indonesians (or, indeed, world wide) declining. Making good coffee is not as easy as pouring hot water onto coffee grains so IULI HTM students have classes looking at the Art of Making Coffee and, connected, to this the History of Coffee. Led by Mr. Rudi Ersan, a local entrepreneur, in his shop, Sekopi Tanah Airku, our HTM students get on the job training and greater knowledge of the long, long history of coffee. Best of all, the students get to taste and judge the finished product!! (TiR/MiE)
