Our new semester one IULI students have just completed their intensive 3 week, 4 hours a day, 60 hour pre-semester one English course. The course is designed for students who will benefit from intensive exposure to English grammar, vocabulary, speaking and listening.
In addition to the intense aspect of the course, there were grammar games and puzzles to solve. The students had excellent attendance and an excellent attitude, always preparing well for grammar tests and presentations.
The course finished with a ’battle of the brains’ quiz with prizes for many students related to many activities over the 3 weeks. Michael, the course lecturer, was delighted with the student attitude and participation.
