On the 9th April 2018, the students of the aviation engineering study program participated in a guest lecture titled “Flight Deck Design- Case N250 and R80” held by Harris Perdana from PT. Regio Aviasi Indonesia.
In his lecture he focused on the concept of Human Centered Design. “The end user (pilot) is the ultimate design driver, and the ultimate forcing function that cannot under any circumstances, be changed”, Mr. Harris said in his lecture. Thus, constructing a workstation size to enable the general anthropometry pilot population to operate in a safe duty manner in respect to the reachability, visibility and well being on an aircraft structural instrumental flying envelope is considered a crucial matter.
