IULI visits Pusat Teknologi Satelit (Pusteksat) at LAPAN, Bogor, West Java on 17 December 2019. The purpose of this visit was to discuss a cooperation in terms of Satellite Technology.
The visit was successful and IULI is looking forward to work together with Pusteksat in the near future as they offer to open a collaboration in terms of supervising IULI students in making satellites.
Our Dean of Engineering Dr. Ir. Prianggada Indra Tanaya, M.M.E and our Head of Aviation Engineering Neno Ruseno S.T., M.Sc. agree and are grateful for the opportunity, thus they will create an MoU as soon as possible.

along 13 Students and a few lecturers for this visit. They were welcomed by the
Head of Dissemination of Pusteksat Mr.
Wahyudi Hasbi along with the Chief Engineer of Pusteksat, Mr. Mukhayadi.
The IULI team was introduced to the institution of LAPAN and also Pusteksat by Mr. Wahyudi Hasbi, meanwhile Mr. Mukhayadi presented the result of research development of engineering utilization of satellites of LAPAN, beginning from LAPAN-A1/LAPAN-Tubsat, LAPAN-A2/LAPAN-ORARI, LAPAN-A3/LAPAN-IPB, LAPAN-A4 up to Constellation Satellites.
LAPAN has launched 3 Satellites so far and they are currently building LAPAN-A4 Satellite, which is planned to be launched in 2020.
Other than developing satellites, Pusteksat also cooperates with other institutions in regards of the use of data satellites. They do not only work together with the government, but also open opportunities for universities and other institutions.
Our Dean of Engineering hopes that IULI keeps a good relationship and that the cooperation will show great results.
