24 October 2017 – The first IULI video competition lasted from 6 – 20 October 2017. After two weeks, the winner was declared on 24 October 2017 in the IULI Main Hall, Campus 2.
The theme of the video competition was three of IULI’s key strengths; namely, its strategic location within the green environment of The Breeze, its international partners, and its lecturers and courses. The videos also tried to portray IULI’s academic and non-academic activities.
The winners of the video competition were Whidhi Gilang Satria from Biomedical Engineering with his partner Felia Jasmin from International Relations. The concept they had met the criteria that IULI set: creativity, addressing the key strengths, editing, aesthetic appeal and selling points. In addition,the winners for most likes from Instagram were Dalli Bayuaji from Mechatronic Engineering with his partner Clinton from Mechatronics Engineering.
It is hoped the video competition will become a yearly event which generates out of the box ideas from students to help IULI become better known to the public.
