Bumi Serpong Damai, 23 August 2016 – IULI successfully underwent an external surveillance audit (assessment) for the ISO 9001:2008 certification. The third party TÜV Rheinland did the assessment to ensure that IULI’s Quality Management System (QMS) continues to meet all the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 International Standard. IULI was so successful that there were zero (0) non-conformances identified during the assessment.
“Maintaining our ISO certification simply validates IULI’s unwavering commitment to delivering quality service to our customers,” said IULI’s Rector Dr. Ir. Tutuko Prajogo, MSMfgE.
“Having process controls in place increases corporate stability while continual improvement encourages new ideas. Quality management is necessary in any organisation that wants to survive in today’s market,” said IULI’s Board of Trustees co-chairman Prof. Dr. Peter Pscheid.
The ISO 9001:2008 Standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and involvement of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. ISO 9001:2008 is implemented by over one million companies and organisations in over 170 countries.
