IULI, 21 September 2016. Who doesn’t love spending their weekend at a national park? The fresh air, the sound of bird chirping, a nice walk in the park, and spending some time alone just enjoying the view; the trees, the animals and the clear sky. Wouldn’t it be nice to capture it all?
As one of the activities of the photography club, the members went on a photo hunting trip to the Bogor botanical gardens, with “human and nature” as the theme, on 17 September 2016. The Bogor botanical garden is a botanical garden located in Bogor which spans up to 87 hectares of land, and has a collection of about 15000 types of plants and trees, which makes it an interesting place to take pictures of nature.
Our photographers; Anjanette, Dali, Bobby, Clinton, Ronald, Winna, Jeremy, and Riva from the photography club did just their first photography shooting on a beautiful Saturday morning recently. It was on 17 September 2016. Since they would like to take photos with the theme of nature, they chose to do their shooting at Kebun Raya Bogor. Kebun Raya Bogor is one of the West Java’s national parks located in Bogor. Inside this park, there are various types of plants. There are huge trees, flowers, and monuments that can be an interesting object for our photographers to shoot. Those were also photographs of their fun moments.
Our photographers also went to the Bogor Zoology Museum, which is located near the Kebun Raya Bogor. The museum has collections related to animals. Our photographers were able to photograph some of the collections there. They captured preserved animals, the fossils of a goat, and other interesting objects.
“Great company, great weather and lots of fun”, Anjanette (INR).
“Yesterday’s event opened my mind to how nature really is”, Bobby (MTE).
“Our trip to Kebun Raya Bogor was a moment of acquaintance with nature.”, Dali (MTE).
“It was a fun experience, it wasn’t only about taking good pictures but also about bonding between photography club members”, Winna (MTE)
