9 November 2017 – On Thursday, 1st of November 2017, students of Aviation Engineering and Industrial Engineering had an excursion to Garuda Indonesia Operation Control Center. There, they were received by Mr. Djoko Suprapto as the Chief of the Operation Control Center (OCC) with his team. Students were given information about several sections within the OCC; namely, Flight Following, Flight Planning, Flight Crew Mover, Flight Mover, Emergency Control Center, and Crew Dispatcher. The Chief of OCC also explained specifically about possible careers. The students were enthusiastic joining the discussion and raising questions. Dea Mareta (INE), Giovanni Henggar (AVE), Lutfi Muzakki (AVE) and Nathanael (AVE) won the Q&A prizes regarding OCC activities given by Mr. Djoko Suprapto.
