On Wednesday, June 6, 2018, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Ir. Prianggada Indra Tanaya, MME, and the Head of Dept. Of Mechanical Engineering, Dipl.-Ing. Wahyu Guritno, M.Si, visited the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Indonesia. The aim of the visit was to get some insight into the laboratory facilities that could be used by our students, especially for mechanical engineering courses.
We were warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Idrus Alhamid, Prof. Dr. Ir. Danardono A. Sumarsono, DEA, Prof. Dr. Ir. Raldi Artono Koestoer, DEA, and students of the Mechanical Engineering Department. We visited several labs, and were introduced to research achievements performed by the department, such as research on electric vehicles, heat-pipes, and an infant incubator (CSR of Prof. Raldi A. Koestoer). As a result, we had some ideas of practice items that could be given to our students and outsourced to UI.
We had a warm and friendly discussion during our visit, and the possibility of cooperation will be further explored.
