AUSTRALIA, November 1–4, 2026 — A proud achievement has been marked by a faculty member of the International University Liaison Indonesia (IULI), Niken Taufiqurrahmi Listyorini, who won the "Best PhD Student Presentation Award" at the international ALLCO₂ Conference, organized by the ARC Centre of Excellence for Green Electrochemical Transformation of Carbon Dioxide (GETCO₂) in Australia.

Currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the School of Chemical Engineering at The University of Queensland, Australia, Ms. Listyorini earned the award for her research presentation titled: “Effect of Ionomer Type and Ultrasonic Dispersion on the Properties of Catalyst Inks for Fabricating Cathodes for CO₂ Electrolysers.”

The research focuses on the influence of ionomer types and ultrasonic dispersion methods on the characteristics of catalyst inks used in the fabrication of cathodes for carbon dioxide (CO₂) electrolyser devices.

This study is part of the development of electrochemical technology with the potential to support the utilization and conversion of CO₂ into value-added products, while simultaneously contributing to the advancement of low-carbon technologies and environmental sustainability.

The ALLCO₂ Conference is an international scientific forum that brings together researchers, academics, industry professionals, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers from various scientific disciplines. The conference serves as a platform for sharing the latest developments, research findings, and innovations in the field of carbon dioxide capture, utilization, and conversion.
