The IULI Undergraduate Dentistry Program prepares students to build a foundation in dental science, preclinical skills, clinical thinking, research, communication, and professionalism, all of which prepare them for professional dentistry. Learning is designed through an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach that integrates biomedical science, dental science, public health, preclinical skills, and the development of analytical and problem-solving skills. In line with IULI's character of connecting academic excellence with real-world relevance, students learn through lectures, case discussions, practicums, workshops, skills laboratories, simulations, presentations, and research. The curriculum also introduces evidence-based dentistry, teledentistry, artificial intelligence literacy, and developments in digital dentistry technology.

To become a superior and innovative Bachelor of Dentistry Study Program in the prevention and management of stomatognathic system diseases based on evidence-based dentistry and the use of teledentistry.

  • Graduates of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery program earn the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (S.K.G.) degree. The Bachelor stage is the academic phase in the dental education journey.
  • To obtain the Dentist (drg.) title and practice professionally, graduates must continue to the Dental Profession Program and meet all applicable educational and regulatory requirements.
  • During the Bachelor phase, students build a strong foundation in biomedical and dental sciences, case analysis skills, preclinical techniques, research, communication, ethics, and professionalism to prepare for professional education.

The IULI Bachelor of Dental Surgery Program does not divide education into separate concentrations. Students follow an integrated curriculum covering the main fields of dentistry comprehensively:

  • Pathway to Dentist
    Graduates with an S.K.G. degree can proceed to the Dental Profession Program to gain the competence and qualifications required to become a dentist (drg.). After completing professional education and fulfilling applicable regulations, dentists can practice in various oral health services.
  • Postgraduate & Specialist Education
    Graduates can pursue master's degree programs in their field of interest. Upon becoming a licensed dentist, specialist training pathways are available in fields such as Orthodontics, Endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Medicine, Dental Radiology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and more.

    Laboratory facilities support the learning of basic and biomedical sciences, which form the foundation of dental education. Through practical sessions, students strengthen their understanding of the structure, function, and biological processes of the human body relevant to health and disease.
